TREMAINEKING

Working across abstract film, experimental documentary and contemporary photography, King focuses on personal narratives questioning both masculinity and existence with strong themes of intimacy and how these moments can be achieved. Emphasis currently resides in producing digital media work to contribute to an exploration of how repetition can be used within visual arts to solidify existing societal beliefs or patterns.

Graduating in 2017 he achieved a Bachelor of Art's First Class Honours in Fashion Image & Styling from the University of Salford. From his success during undergraduate studies he was invited to teach Fashion Communication at SINO-UK, Zhejiang Fashion Institute of Technology, an internationally recognised art school based in Ningbo, China. 

Tremaine is currently living in Manchester, United Kingdom, producing preliminary visual research into repetition theory of which to use late in post doctoral research (t.b.c.).
